Post subject:  "The Olden Days" Podcast

Jake and I have begun recording a series of podcasts about our favourite film and TV from our childhood. If you would like to, you can hear us introducing ourselves (and explaining the choice of title) here.

I feel pretty confident that some of our subjects will interest one or two people around here, and a great many of them won't. Then, of course, there's the question of whether anyone thinks we're worth listening to. On the off-chance, I'll upload all the links here, and anyone who wants to listen may do so.

Jake hopes to release our first full session tomorrow. That said, I'm quite confident it's one of the ones that no one here will find the slightest bit interesting... unless maybe you're a Brit who was young in the 80s and 90s.

Our first podcast in on Jake's favourite, Knightmare, which probably most of you have never even heard of. :P

We do bang on for a massive fifty minutes. I don't expect anyone here to listen to this one, but in the last minute or so you can hear us promising to talk about Ghostbusters next time, and I promise as well that I shall find some new things to say when we do.

Here is episode 2 of our podcast, on Ghostbusters (which I suppose makes it more of a fan project, but oh well?). We talk at length (great length  ) about both movies and both cartoon series, particularly EGB of course. You'll have heard much of it before from me, and some of it from Jake, but I think we've also thrown in some new material. Maybe. Why not listen and find out? :D

This time, The Mysterious Cities of Gold.

Our longest yet, but worth a listen if you like those epic adventures that the Japanese are so good at, I think.

Also, if it occurred to you to wonder which ancestor Eduardo was talking about in one of our virtual season episodes recently, the explanation is here between about 41 and 43 minutes.

This time it's an epic (our longest yet), and it's perhaps a bit controversial (just to warn any interested parties), and it's about Digimon (almost entirely season one, touching on season two).

This time we discuss the classic school drama series Grange Hill, which I daresay means nothing to my American friends. :P

I stopped posting links to things that were unlikely to be of interest here, but everyone likes Back to the Future, right? Oh, and a lot of people worldwide like the subject of the previous episode, Jurassic Park, as well. 8-)
