Ghostbusters.nuts is Kingpin's Ghostbusters community parody strip. He's released 55 of them over the last four years. Keep up with it either here:

http://forums.ghostbusters.net/ghostbus ... t2812.html

Here:

http://www.ghostbustershq.com/phpbb2/vi ... .php?t=524

Or directly at Ben's Deviantart:

Now, I don't just mention this because it's a riotous strip, I also mention it because I've contributed a few strips over the years.

GBNuts#6: Christmas With The Spenglers (2003)

Which got me flamed...

I recolored and relettered it a while later, since I was better at those things:

Christmas With the Spenglers (2005 Remix)

GBNuts#20: Peter, You've Changed (2005)

And a revised version of that one:

Peter You've Changed (2006 Remix)

And now, an all-new one. Based on an idea Kevin K posted on GBN almost four years ago, which I hauled out and drew up a few months back, and Ben finally tweaked, lettered, colored, and released:

GBNuts#55: Slimey See, Slimey Do

There'll probably be a variant of that one too: I'll post the one exactly as I submitted it to Kingpin on my Deviantart page at some future time.

Not an official entry, but it started as a submission:

Ghost Busters.Nuts "58½"

This was a submission I did a couple months back; earlier this year, Filmation's Ghost Busters cartoon recieved the kind of proper, comprehensive DVD release that Sony can't be bothered to create for one of the most successful and popular movie spin-offs of all time.

Anyway, between that, and the creation of an actual Filmation Ghost Busters message board ( http://trughostbusters.proboards98.com/ ) I was inspired to do this little satirical look at what might happen if the Filmation fandom ended up the dominant one.

Numerous in-jokes abound for those familiar with the Sony/Columbia/Aykroyd Ghostbusters fandom.

I withdrew it as with the sensation in fan circles caused by the new Sierra video game ( http://www.ghostbustersgame.com )it looked dated already. But I hope it's still good for a chuckle or two.

As Cheech Marin said when the Titanic returned on December 31, 1988 "Better late than never"

Or alternatively, as Deviantart seems to be blocking non-members:

The Draft version of last year's "Messy Christmas" is now up at my Deviantart:

If that doesn't work, go to my main page and locate it there:

Until early this year, I had a ten year old computer running Windows 98. It finally gave up the ghost, and I managed to inherit a Windows Vista machine from my Mom.

Being a far more up to date computer, I was finally able to download TheGimp photoprocessing software (since I am a gimp, why not?)

Never being one to leave well enough alone, I dug out "Christmas with the Spenglers" from GB.Nuts and redid the letters and word balloons. Even better, I was able to add a glow effect to the Crimebuster trap's laser grid.

If I was incredibly geeky, I might challenge the notion that Crimebuster equipment would trap Santa better than Ghostbuster equipment. :D :ugeek:
