For the first and perhaps only time, I wrote a fan fic based on a real life even.

Back on August 20, 2005, I attended GenCon here in Indianapolis, and for the first time met a couple of the people I've been talking to on the Internet for the last few years...Vincent Belmont probably the most familiar to you all, but also Kevin Kemarly (protoK on GBHQ) and Greg Justis (drjustisGBDD). Nick and the GBLouisville bunch were there, too, but we didn't spend much time with them...

Out of that meeting comes this story...

Ghostbusters International: Con-Fusion
By Fritz Baugh, with Vincent Belmont, Kevin Kemarly, and Greg Justis

2005--Timeline Year Twenty Three
August 20. GenCon is the world's largest gaming convention, and just happens to be held in Fritz Baugh's old home town. But he, Vincent Belmont, Kevin Kemarly, and Greg Justis are in for more than they bargained for, and I'm not just talking about being insulted by Adam Sessler...

The stuff about the ghost is made up, of course, though some of our wacky hijinks in getting separated and lost inspired some of the bits of the story. And Vincent Belmont really did end up being made fun of on X-Play
