These commentaries are designed to be listened to whilst watching the episodes. You may have access to your own copy of the series, but if not - and if for some reason you do want to listen to me/us with the episodes - all forty are available for download at gbfans.com here.

**I think I was a bit tired for this session. There are mistakes and moments of madness trickling through, so I just want to say that I'm aware of them, and please feel free to laugh at my expense. But I made all the points I wanted to about the episodes, and you will get the gist.

***I'm very sorry, Fritz. I meant 1993. ;)

I listened to the first one, and it was a lot of fun to have a voice to attach to the person I've been reading online and in emails for the last eight years. Probably because of your stories and other communications we've had, I can't think of anything that really stood out in your comments about the episode, but you are just getting started.

Definitely planning to listen to more.
:)

Thanks for listening, Fritz. I don't expect a huge audience for this - I just like doing it  - but it's good to have at least one listener. ;)

I've done commentaries for a couple of British shows, which was what got me into it in the first place, and so has Jake. We both took a few episodes to get into our stride, and then they got better. I hope the same thing will happen here, but maybe not!

Jake didn't want to commentate on every single episode, but when he is with me, I think he brings a lot to the experience. He is very good at jokes, and has some insightful comments to make as well.

I'm hoping he'll join me for two more commentaries this evening ('Killjoys' and 'The Unseen'), but we both had unexpected things to do today on top of getting ready to go on holiday tomorrow, so we'll see. But after today, there won't be any more for over a week, so you'll have plenty of time to catch up. ;) (I'm doing the current ones all in a rush, to finish my first two discs before we go.)

I'd like to warn Fritz and any other listeners that I completely lost the plot for a while during my commentary on 'The Infernal Machine'. I'm not happy with it, but that's how it turned out, and I don't really want to try again. It'll do! :P

Edit: Those two new commentaries are up. :)

I've reached a bit of a landmark today, and now Jake and I have recorded commentaries for exactly half the series. Oh, it's tremendous fun! 8-)

I listened to your Crawler session and had a good couple chuckles.

Pants = underpants; I snorted on my Dr Pepper. Thanks. X3

Dr Pepper? Not what I'd choose (yuk!), but anyway, thank you very much for listening.

If you like to hear Jake making me laugh with rude jokes, you should get a kick out of our commentary for 'Grundelesque' (just submitted). ;)

Hey now, don't knock the good doctor, he went through eight+ years of extra schooling to get where he is! ;)

I'll give it a listen for sure!

Just in case anyone's been checking back here wanting new commentaries, and found none over the past week or so, this is to let you know that the hiatus is over. Jake and I have both had coughs and colds, of which you can hear evidence on some of our most recent commentaries (recent in relation to the date of this post, of course), including 'In Your Dreams', which I have just uploaded. There were several days when it was no good trying to record ourselves talking at all, but I hope we can get back into it now, because we do have some fun with it. 8-)

I'm afraid it looks like your links to the recent ones just redirect to the main page of MediaFire :\

Drat and blast! Thank you for telling me. I only found a problem with 'In Your Dreams', so have re-posted the link, and it seems to be working fine now. Have you had problems with any others? I checked the last five or so, and they're working okay for me.

We're now three quarters of the way through. Listen to my commentary for 'Till Death Do Us Start' if you want to hear me being animated and reasonably intelligent. ;)

Loved your Back in the Saddle commentary, I laughed out loud when you go to the bit about Kylie sitting inappropriately. Had not caught that before!

I'm very glad you enjoyed it. If you're interested, it turns out Jake made up 'raspberry smoothie' - he was thinking of an expression from Little Britain which is similar, but not the same.

So, looks like we've finished now. I hope you'll enjoy hearing me rant about how much I hate Witchy Woman, and whatever else we have to say. 8-)

I actually see a lot of what you talked about in Back to the Saddle. Maybe it would have worked better as a three-part finale?

And Witchy Woman is...wow. Yeah, that's a lot of 'ugh'. Maybe early in the series, if they showed Wanda going "I want to be gorgeous and admired by all the guys" and making it all part of an elaborate spell.
