Oscar as Venkman's adopted/spiritual son? Well, since he could have raised Oscar since the kid was eight months old, that more than makes sense. It's the direction we've gone in for the GBOT fan fictions, thanks to Rosey's hard work on the characters.

But to drop in a stupid retcon to make Oscar Peter's biological child? Did those Office guys actually watch GB2?

As castewar points out, it's a rather questionable article, but if it turns out to be the direction they really are thinking of going in, it's one more reason I wouldn't shed a lot of tears if GB3 isn't made.

If this is true, and granted when dealing with Internet rumors this could be a BIG if (the links don't provide anything conclusive) then I'm just saddened.

I kind found Oscar and Peter's relationship beautiful because they love each other despite not being related. I mean, love isn't genetic.

In fact, it was kinda cute in GB2 because Dana would look at Peter playing with Oscar and almost think you know he'd make a good father and then Peter would open his mouth and she'd remember that this is 'Pete Venkman' we're talking about.

Sad thing to hear over all but let's remember to not froth at the mouth. There were rumors that Batman Arkham Asylum was going to be multiplayer and that turned out not to be true (thank God).

For me, GB3 - if it gets made - is going to be a load of poo whatever happens, so this doesn't bother me too much. Neither does it surprise me. So many fictional worlds are held together with retcon.

I generally consider myself a postive person, but as far as GB3 is concerned, I'm just a big pile of negativity, not even considering that they might not go in this stupid direction after all. :roll:
