Does anyone know how long the set will be available? I'm finally working again (YAY!), and figure I can order it next month. I'm not too crazy about payment plans, especially when my bank account is involved, and want to pay for it in one shot.

I haven't heard time life say how long it will be available, have you tried looking on the timelife site or asking time life? I don't have any more available information than anyone else, my internet goes to the same places yours does, lol.

Good for you Fritz! I had mine before Christmas and family kept asking me what I wanted and I couldn't think of anything because I had my set and that's really all I wanted, I just wish someone else had paid for it lol. Actually the set is what I wanted for a whole bunch of Christmases! I remember when I tried to get my dad to buy bootlegs off Ebay for me! I'm glad he didn't now.

Right now I'm just savoring having the thing. It's awesome...the packaging, the artwork.

I'm thinking about doing this full out--start with rewatching the first movie, then the RGB stuff from 1986-1988, GB2, then the rest. Probably watch the Slimer stuff in the "right" place, during or after the 1988 season (before GB2).

Watching the commentaries and the much-hyped promo before the rest of the show is definitely a possibility.
