There's a lot of that I wouldn't have bought, but as a big Egon fan the lab probably would have made my list. It looks like it would have been neat, too.

Sigh. the Slimerizer is one of the cheapest reuse of the slimed thing. It makes me wonder why not green atleast? The Backpack line looked ok to a degree, tho the point in the colors of uniforms is lost to me. I'm glad we all know what could have been, and most likely it would have been even less interesting.

I did manage to get Ecto Glow Egon and Venkman at a comic convention a while back. The guy had Ray and Winston, too, but I didn't have the money to get all four and played favorites. He said he'd be back at the next show; he lied.

Eh...just the way Kenner and a lot of toy companies did things in the 1980's, with lots of weird variants of the main characters that often didn't have anything to do with the show they came from. Kenner did get sort of lazy toward the end, though--the Power Pack, Slimed Heroes, Ecto Glow, and the proposed Backpack Heroes were all just recolors of the Series 1 line. (The Power Pack heroes did give us new molds of Janine and Louis, the latter of which they reused in the Slimed Heroes line)

I guess the plus side is that, unlike many of the previous weird variant lines, you could squint and still see some resemblance to the show.

that is why I liked EGB and some of the toys. some of the pack in the popped up in the show. Even if they don't uses it all that much, It still helps saying. ' Oh this is from that show and they needed it for this."
