I'm definitely interested to see how this story line plays out. We didn't get to see Janine, Tiyah, Kylie or Oritz's reactions to the guys getting nabbed, so I hope we get to see some real emotion to the homecoming.

I find it interesting that Janine has a biometric pass to the ECU especially since she didn't in Mrs Roger's Neighborhood and it saved the ECU then.

I also want to see what everyone's reaction is to a small thing that bugs me. Janine has, several times now, called other women 'sweetie' when talking to them and I kinda feel like that's a little out of character. Granted we really didn't see her interact with other women elsewhere, except Kylie, who she talked to nicer because she was younger. I don't know. It just seems like it's not her, like she is trying too hard to be friendly.

Lol...story convenience. That time it was good thing she didn't, this time it was a good thing she did. Plus of course "That was cartoon stuff and it didn't happen in this universe blah blah blah"

A little bit more seriously--"Mrs. Rogers" more or less takes place much earlier in the team's career. "New Ghostbusters" takes place after she's been with the company through a shutdown, a restart, and the better part of a decade or so. She's earned that trust.

I agree it isn't something we're used to. Maybe Burnham is trying to put a little bit of his own spin on things. And since Janine has a reputation for being a bit abraisive, she IS trying too hard to act nicer to overcompensate. I dunno...
