This issue hints at what's gonna go down in the next issue. Something's gonna happen to Pecker, I know it.

Spook Central doesn't seem to have their usual preview; here's one from Issuu:

https://issuu.com/idwpublishing/docs/gh ... onal_06-pr

Dan Schoening is taking this issue off; art is by Rachel Stott, who has done some work for Titan's Doctor Who books. (Maybe that explains why Egon seems to have Peter Capaldi's scown on the cover; the Twelfth Doctor and Egon just can't escape each other  )

Spook Central does have a preview, I just neglected to put it up: https://www.facebook.com/spookcentralgb ... 5967702045

Ooh, I actually hadn't considered the Capaldi/Egon resemblance  Mind blown.

But let's talk about the Spanish lessons that Eduardo hasn't been giving Kylie, eh? ;)

I swear I went looking for it and didn't find it. I guess it's more proof I'm not so good at the Facebooking

I wish I knew more Spanish dirty words. They'd be so useful right now. :)

As it happens, I only know a couple, which I'm sure are the same words that you and everyone else knows.

They should all have been saying "Te quiero" by now. Not dirty.

Well, I never learned Spanish - just picked up the words that everyone knows, and much of it you can figure out with a basic knowledge of French - and feeding a long phrase like that into Google Translate really shows up its problems (as often happens; it's just useful as a starting point for short sentences). But explotar su casa is pretty obvious, and I was able to get the rest without too much trouble. :D

Personally, I prefer this less stylised, more traditional artwork. I know in some things I'm not a traditionalist (Fritz may remember a few good-natured jokes between friends ;) ), but I guess in some other things I am. It'd be interesting to see if Rachel Stott ever gets to draw Eduardo, but no great travesty if she doesn't.

I just had this thought a couple of days back. It was after mrmichaelt mentioned how heartwarming it was to see Kylie pat a ghost dog in this issue, after Janine mentioned in GBI #4 that she made Kylie trap a weeping ghost dog.

Then I remembered that in Janine's memories from Vol 2 #6, Egon and Roger saw that when Janine was very little, she was playing with a puppy. Another memory shows Janine walking with her mother and a push-along dog toy.

Is it out of character for someone who supposedly loved dogs as a child, even owned one, to muster enough strength to make a Ghostbuster trap a ghost dog, just like that? Or am I overthinking? :?: Hmmmm....
