January 1995--Timeline Year Thirteen
Ray and Liz arrive in England, where Liz was trained as a wizard. What if her Aunt Tegan doesn't approve? And why is there a skunk in Ray's room?

I realize it's been a while since my last story. October and November of last year dropped emotional atom bombs on both the personal and the macro scales, and for a long time telling silly stories about silly imaginary people just didn't seem worth doing. I think I'm better now.

Thanks everybody for their patience

Great to see that you are back writing again! 8-)

I must admit, it's been a long time since I last read any fanfiction, not just Ghostbusters. I've been in a reading rut for quite a while, but I'm slowly getting back into it.

I really love this story. The character of Eric is so lovely, I can imagine him in an episode of RGB. He'd fit in really well.

Personally, I find it interesting to see the way various supernatural communities regard the Ghostbusters - either as wary friends or foes, or some kind of in-between - and with Ray's impending nuptials this is a perfect way to get a taste of both Ray's place as Liz's soon-to-be husband, as well as some idea about the Wizard community's response to him and his connection to the Ghostbusters.

It's nice to read a story where the guys have normal happy relationships, are slowly setting themselves up for their futures and going through a bit of character development as they do it. Really refreshing to read.

Looking forward to reading more!

Glad you like him. Honestly, I kind of came up with him spur of the moment when writing part three of "Enlightenment" and he grew from there.

It is interesting. Vincent Belmont and I put a lot of work into things that are still mostly "behind the scenes" and maybe always will be, but there's a touch here and there where it come in organically. If I ever get off my butt and finish "Toy Soldiers" there's a fair bit of Hermetic politics (and the whole story is hip deep in LA's vampire scene...though that's why I got stuck writing it, because I got sick of vampires)

I really wanted to make this relationship different from everyone else's...and having it be so relatively easy was a big part of it. To contrast with the drama of Venkman and Dana and the boatloads of drama with Egon and Janine (and even Winston and Kaila taking eight years to reach the alter despite a relative lack of drama)

Thanks. I'm planning to get "Coda and Terchi's Extreme Adventure" part 2 out next, but work's been slow--I received some plastic model kits for my birthday, and they're monopolizing the chunk of my time I'd be writing it for the moment.
