It was a fine day a week before the new school year began. The kids have their book bags, notebooks, pencils, and pens together.

The Spengler quads were starting second grade instead of going into first grade--Janine had talked to Egon about letting them skip first grade. Egon didn't mind them skipping a grade. They gave them love and encouragement and told them to do their best. The Spengler quads cheered all together.

Meanwhile, the Zeddemore triplets was going to start the 4th grade. They're going to still have classes together, and Chris promised his Dad that he'll look after his sisters Katie and Vanna.
Next the Stantz twins, Julianna and Carlton, were going to start 8th grade at their middle school. CJ already told Ray that he;s going to look after Jules so she wouldn't get harassed by any boys there. After the talk with their parents the kids were happy and ready to start school.

A week later, all the kids went to their schools to start their classes. After giving their parents hugs and kisses they entered their classes; they sat with their friends and started talking with them on how their summer vacations went. Then the announcements came on, welcoming them back to school and how's it's going to be a great year before going over the rules for the new school year.

At the middle school, Jules and CJ were excited for this school year; they knew that if they were good, they get an citizenship trip to Washington later in the school year.

When they got to the cafeteria for lunch, Jules, Nichole, Melissa and her new friend, Sharon were sitting at one table, while CJ, Ronnie, Jason, and his new friend David, sat at the other. After getting lunches, the kids started to eat their food while some kids were laughing at their friends' antics.
The kids were talking about how their classes were going to be like this year. Jules said to her friends,"I think Charles is cute and I want to date him."

Her friends replied, "Really? I Think you should go for it." Then all the girls started laughing And Jules gave CJ thumbs up at the table while CJ gave her thumbs up back.

Just then the door opened; Ray and Elaine came in. "We came to see how was your day going," Ray announced as he bought lunch and sat down with CJ and his friends. Meanwhile Elaine sat down with Jules and her friends as they were talking to her about their classes and boys.
When talking to Elaine about their classes and boys, Jules told Elaine that she wants to date Charles Lawrence Johnson. The other girls started laughing and encourage Jules about it.

Elaine replied "I think you should date him, Jules. You two make a very cute couple."

Jules smiled.

Meanwhile at the Elementary school, The Spengler Quads sat down with the Zeddemore Triplets doing lunch time. Greg stuck his straws up his nose. The kids laughed except Ann, who said it was repulsive. Just then Egon, Janine, Jenny and Winston decided to come and check on the kids.

Janine saw the straws up Greg's nose and barked. "Gregory, get those straws out of your nose!" As the group started laughing at Greg.

Winston elbowed Egon, "See what did I tell you? Greg really takes after his mom." He grinned. Egon couldn't help but smirk at his son.

Gregory does indeed take after Janine more than me." He replied as he helped his son to throw away the straws. “So does Nathaniel. However while the girls are a lot more like me, Ann has Janine's temper."

"Oh really?" Winston asked. Egon nodded his head. "I guess we all have to watch out for Ann when she looses her temper." Winston said as he sat down with his lunch.

"I concur Winston," Egon agreed with him.

The kids talked to their parents about their classes and friends. Katie then spoke up, "Daddy, I have a crush on a boy."

Jenny and Winston looked at their daughter with surprised looks on their faces. Winston asked,"What this boy's name?"

Katie blushed and replied, His name is "David Charles Peterson. He's a redhead with green eyes. I like him very much."

" I think your dad is just kidding, Sweetie," Jenny reassured her daughter after lunch, as Katie was waiting to go outside for recess.

Katie nodded her head and forgave her dad for making that bad joke. After that the dismissal bell rung.

All the kids went outside to the playground to play on the slide and swings.

After the kids went outside, Jenny, Janine, Egon and Winston went out to see the kids playing. Nathaniel tried to put a worm in Vanna's hair; Vanna knocked him down and kicked him in the shins.

Winston told him he shouldn't do that because Vanna doesn't like worms in her hair; after that Nathaniel apologized to Vanna.

The kids played for awhile until the bell rang again to go inside.

After the bell rang, the Zeddemore triplets went back to Ms Jones' class to ask questions and get their textbooks.

Meanwhile the Spengler quads went into Mr. Pike's classroom and sat in their desks, which were set up like tables, and continued going over what they're going to study this school year.

Back at the middle school, Jules and CJ and their friends finished with lunch then went to the library to read or talk quietly with their friends.
fter the bell rang to go back to their classes, Jules and CJ went into their history class. The teacher, Mr Skylark, went over the rules and expectations and passed out history textbooks.

After sitting in class for a very long time, the bell rang and the kids went into their last class for the day, English.

Back at the elementary school, the kids were waiting for the dismissal bell. It finally rang at 2:00.

The kids cheered and got their things to take home. The first day of school was over.

The Spengler quads and the Zeddemore triplets talked to one another as they headed home; Janine, Egon, Jenny and Winston came out of their cars and called the kids over to them.

The kids saw their parents and hugged them telling them about their school day. Winston took Katie aside and apologized for the joke he made at lunch. Katie forgave him; he told her he wants her to be careful and he loves her. The families got into their cars and drive home.

At 2:20 Cj and Jules got out their middle school, taking their bookbags and history textbooks home with them. Ray and Elaine were waiting patiently for them. After the twins told their parents about their school day, they seemed to be impress what with the kids learned. They got into their car and drove home.
